No mês passado, a Revista Jane Austen’s Regency World completou sua 50a edição. A edição está repleta de artigos interessantes, incluindo uma entrevista com Sandy Lerner – atual proprietária de Chawton House.

Today, the giveaway is the Jane Austen’s Regency World issue 44 (with a cd), a gift sent by Tim Bullamore, the magazine’s editor. It will be 3 days of posts including the giveaways, and they are availabe until the 2nd of january. The luck ones will be published on january, 3rd. Is that ok?

A Natália D’Ornellas, jornalista do Caderno Magazine, Jornal O Tempo (de Minas Gerais), está de férias na Inglaterra e há uns 15 dias visitou Bath. Natália me contou que esteve no Jane Austen Centre e acabou comprando a Edição 47 da Revista Jane Austen’s Regency World, que saiu meu artigo sobre Jane Austen no Brasil. Natália D’Ornellas, a journalist from O Tempo (Minas Gerais), is on vacation in England and fifteen days ago she visited Bath. Natália told me that she visited Jane Austen Centre and bought the Edition 47 of Jane Austen’s Regency World Magazine, and she read my article about Jane Austen in Brazil. JASBRA no Jane Austen Festival 2010

Como eu ou um outro membro da JASBRA não pudemos ir até a Inglaterra para o Jane Austen Festival, nós enviamos um representante! Obviamente trata-se de uma brincadeira! 🙂
Mas acontece que após ser convidada para escrever o artigo, eu enviei uma bolsa e uma camiseta do II Encontro JASBRA (2010) para o editor da Revista Jane Auten’s Regency World: Sr. Bullamore.
O Sr. Tim Bullamore gostou muito dos presentes que nós enviamos e decidiu usar a camiseta da JASBRA, hoje, durante o Festiival Jane Austen em Bath! Então, aqui está a foto que ele me enviou esta tarde. Não é legal? Ao menos algo do Brasil está em Bath agora, durante o festival. Talvez algum dia eu estarei lá também!
As we, members  of JASBRA, can’t go to England to participate in the Jane Austen Festival, we sent something to represent us! Obviously I’m’kidding! 🙂
But… when I was invited to write the article, I sent a bag and a t-shirt from our II JASBRA National Meeting to the editor of Jane Austen’s Regency World Magazine. Mr. Bullamore.
Mr. Tim Bullamore really like the gifts we sent and he decided to wear our T-shirt today during the Jane Austen Festival in Bath! So, here’s the picture he sent me this afternoon. Is great, isn’t it? At least something from Brazil is in Bath now, during the festival. Maybe someday I will be there too!

É com muito prazer e satisfação que escrevo este post! Na edição de setembro/outubro da Revista Jane Austen’s Regency World, que acaba de sair da gráfica, há um artigo que eu escrevi. Recebi o convite por volta de junho, na época do II Encontro Nacional da JASBRA e tive um tempo relativamente bom para escrever este artigo! Fiquei muito emocionada e lisonjeada ao receber este convite do editor da revista Mr. Tim Bullamore. Thanks again for this opportunity!
Bem, aqui está a capa da revista e como vocês poderão ler, há uma chamada para o meu artigo, que será o primeiro artigo da revista! Eu escrevi cerca de 3 páginas a respeito da minha primeira experiência com Austen, como surgiu a ideia de criar uma sociedade aqui no Brasil, os livros que traduzi, entre outros. Espero que gostem!
